Books4STEM is a student-led organization working to promote knowledge and STEM curiosity through children's books. We develop the concepts and stories; illustrators through our partner network bring each page to life.

We pick topics kids meet early (diseases, careers, and real days in medicine) and frame them with clarity and warmth.

Through our partners, artists shape characters, scenes, and visual metaphors that make hard ideas feel approachable.

Why kids' books
Picture books are where curiosity starts, and where we meet kids before the jargon does.
Too often STEM is introduced as a subject to survive. We treat it as a set of stories: bodies that heal, people who practice medicine, professionals who chose a path. Illustrated pages make room for questions parents and teachers can keep answering.
